As Chief Operating Officer and a member of Baupost’s Management Committee, Elaine leads the firm’s operational strategy. She oversees a high-preforming team across Information Technology, Investor Services, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Office Administration and all functions under the CFO’s purview­­­­—ensuring exceptional support for Baupost’s investment efforts and outstanding service to its limited partners.

Elaine joined Baupost in 1998, bringing deep experience in strategy and institutional advancement. Prior to Baupost, she served as a Senior Consultant at Grenzebach Glier & Associates and as a Director in the Development Office of Babson College, her alma mater. She is actively engaged in the nonprofit sector, contributing her expertise to organizations including Perkins School for the Blind and Franciscan Children's Hospital.
